Job description:

  1. Provide day-to-day supervision of an assigned financial operation; plan, prioritize, assign, supervise, and review the work of a diverse workforce; develop and revise work processes; establish work schedules; provide, identify or coordinate staff training; manage performance and work with staff to correct deficiencies; monitor work performed to meet agreed upon goals and objectives.

  2. Perform advanced financial management or accounting duties; examine, analyze and verify documents to ensure adherence to established controls and accepted professional standards; audit records, systems and procedures; analyze data and prepare financial statements, budget projections and reports.

  3. Analyzes financial reports in relation to current budget and prior year information.

  4. Audits expenditures, ensuring compliance with the accounting procedures of the organization.

  5. Balances and reconciles accounts; adjusts and corrects daily journal entries.

  6. Monitors expenditures and prepares monthly financial statements and administrative reports.

  7. Provides technical support to clerical and professional staff.

  8. Provides constructive and timely performance evaluations (as needed).

  9. Oversees the daily workflow of the department along with Accounting Manager/Head.

  10. Provides constructive and timely performance evaluations (as needed).

  11. Along with HR, handles discipline and termination of Accounting employees in accordance with company policy.

  12. Assists in the AP, AR collections,General Accounting and analysis of financial information.

  13. Create, provide and monitor monthly, quarterly and annual statement reports in ensuring the financial records are recorded accurately.

  14. Performs other related duties as assigned from time to time.

Proficient with Microsoft Office Excel or similar software, and other accounting and financial softwares
