Warehouse and Stocks Control Assistant

About the role

This full-time Warehouse and Stocks Control Assistant role at Chef and Market Brands Inc in Tandang Sora, Quezon City, Metro Manila provides an excellent opportunity to join a fast-growing company in the food retail and catering industry. You will play a key role in ensuring the efficient management and control of the company's warehouse and stock inventory operations.

What you'll be doing

  • Managing the daily operations of the warehouse, including receiving, storing, picking, packing, and dispatching goods
  • Maintaining accurate stock records and inventory levels to meet production and customer demands
  • Assisting with stock takes and cycle counts to ensure the integrity of stock data
  • Identifying and resolving any stock discrepancies or issues
  • Ensuring the warehouse and storage areas are kept clean, tidy, and well-organized
  • Supporting the scheduling and coordination of deliveries
  • Provide excellent customer service to internal stakeholders

What we're looking for

  • A college degree is preferred.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a warehouse or stock control role, preferably in the food production and catering industry
  • Strong mathematical skills and attention to detail to maintain accurate stock records
  • Knowledge of Microsoft applications, warehouse management, and inventory control systems
  • Good problem-solving skills to identify and resolve stock issues
  • Good verbal and written communication skills
  • A team player with the ability to work collaboratively
  • Knowledge of food safety standards and proper storage procedures is preferred
  • Physically fit to perform manual handling tasks in the warehouse; ability to lift up to 25kg regularly and stand for extended periods
