Education:


•College Level or High school diploma or equivalent required.

Experience:


•Minimum 1-3 years experience in stock handling, inventory control, or warehouse operations, preferably in a food service or restaurant environment.


•Experience with perishable goods handling and food safety regulations is highly desirable.

Skills & Competencies


•Strong knowledge of inventory management principles (FIFO, stock rotation).


•Familiarity with food safety standards and storage requirements.


•Basic computer literacy preferred, including familiarity with inventory management software and MS Excel.


•Good organizational skills and attention to detail.


•Ability to conduct physical stock counts accurately.


•Strong communication skills to coordinate with suppliers, kitchen staff, and management.


•Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.


•Basic understanding of warehouse safety practices.

Physical Requirements:


•Ability to lift and move stock items safely (may require lifting up to 25-30 kg).

Key Responsibilities

Receiving & Inspecting Deliveries:


•Check incoming stock (food, beverages, supplies) against delivery notes for quantity and quality.


•Verify freshness, expiration dates, and report any discrepancies or damages.

Proper Storage & Organization:


•Store items according to food safety standards (temperature control, FIFO).


•Keep stock neatly arranged for easy access and to avoid contamination.

•Stock Issuance:ue stock to kitchen or departments based on daily requirements or requisitions.


•Ensure accurate records of stock issued.

Inventory Monitoring & Control:


•Track stock levels regularly to avoid shortages or overstocking.


•Maintain updated inventory records using manual logs or software.

Stock Audits & Reconciliation:


•Conduct regular physical stock counts and reconcile with inventory records to ensure accuracy.

Waste & Loss Management:


•Identify expired, spoiled, or damaged items and arrange for proper disposal.


•Investigate stock discrepancies and minimize wastage or theft.

Ordering Assistance:


•Provide stock level reports and consumption data to procurement or management for timely reordering.

Cleanliness & Safety:


•Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in the storage area to comply with food safety regulations.


•Follow safety procedures during handling and storage.

Reporting:


•Prepare and submit regular inventory and stock status reports to management.

Job Type: Full-time
