Insurance Solutions Manager

Job Purpose:
The Insurance Solutions Manager is responsible for the Face to Face selling and the servicing of insurance products to High Net Worth clients. He/She acts as the intermediary between Unionbank Financial Services and Insurance Brokerage Philippines, Inc. and Insular Life clients, including individuals and group. They advise customers on Insurance solutions that best suit their needs and provide service to clients' changing insurance needs by utilizing their knowledge in Financial Planning. He/She is expected to also deliver the responsibilities, job activities, and processes described in the major activities.
Principal Accountability 1
Develop lifetime customer relationships
Major Activities:
• Will be assigned to service a sales hub of UnionBank Financial Services and Insurance Brokerage Philippines, Inc.
• Source from the existing pool of leads of UFSI
• Seek out leads from the sales team of wealth and brokerage channels
• Advise clients on how to minimize risks and provide insurance solutions
• Advice clients on education planning, retirement planning, estate planning
• Help High Net Worth individuals select the most appropriate life insurance policies
• Offer and sell insurance solutions to potential clients
• Process insurance applications
• Maintain reports and records of insurance policies
• Maintain regular contact with clients
• Answer questions that may arise from clients
• Assist the clients in servicing these policies such as amendments and surrenders
• Assist beneficiaries in insurance claims
Principal Accountability 2
Build, establish and maintain relationship with the sales team by spearheading and participating in branch activities
Major Activities:
• Strategize with Relationship Managers, Sales Heads and Branch Managers
• Attend/Conduct hub and branch meetings
• Provide sales production reports
• Provide referral status reports
• Educate the sales team on importance of financial needs-based selling
• Introduces Financial Planning Services to customers, including referred customers of the bank
• Works with Sales Heads on his or her daily / weekly activities, including updates on status of referrals
Principal Accountability 3
Be an integral part of the Wealth Brokerage team
Major Activities:
• Meet monthly/annual sales targets set by the Insurance Head and InLife
• Provide accurate sales activity reports to the Insurance Head
• Conducts Financial Needs Analysis/Needs-based Analysis to high net worth clients
• Help clients realize their needs, reach their goals and secure their future by offering the best customized financial solutions available
• Demonstrate positive attitude, complete training programs, demonstrate product mastery and consistency in daily activities
• Demonstrate mastery of the sales process and proficiency in using distributor tools.
Qualifications:
• Candidate must possess at least a College Degree
• Past experience working in Sales (with preferred industries of automotive, pharmaceutical, retail sales, banking/financial services, real-estate, etc.) is an advantage
• With good interpersonal, communications and presentation skills
• Confident
• Highly trainable and with good and positive attitude
• Aggressive and results-oriented
• Possesses high integrity
