IT Operations Manage
r is responsible for managing all after-hours IT operations, ensuring stable, reliable, and secure infrastructure support across a 24/7 environment. The role leads after-hours incident escalation, oversees service delivery and technical operations, monitors operational performance, and collaborates with internal teams to support business continuity.
Responsibilities:
- Direct and execute after-hours IT operations in alignment with IT policies, SOPs, SLAs, and security standards.
- Monitor IT operational metrics, service efficiency, and performance; provide timely updates to leadership.
- Collaborate with Performance, Execution, and cross-functional teams to support operational excellence.
- Ensure stability, uptime, and service reliability of IT infrastructure and services during after-hours operations.
- Manage after-hours IT service delivery including service desk, incident triage, and user support.
- Lead escalation management for incidents, outages, and critical operational issues.
- Drive incident lifecycle from detection through resolution, ensuring accurate documentation and communication.
- Analyze recurring technical incidents and recommend process improvements or automation opportunities.
- Promote continuous improvement across workflows, documentation, and service delivery processes.
- Serve as the primary escalation point for advanced server, network, cloud, and desktop issues.
- Oversee monitoring, troubleshooting, and maintenance of core technologies (Windows Server, AD, DNS, Networking, VPN, Azure, VMware, O365).
- Guide technical troubleshooting efforts and ensure rapid response during high-impact situations.
- Support backup, cloud storage, and infrastructure readiness across all supported platforms.
- Supervise, coach, and develop after-hours IT professionals to maintain a high-performing operations team.
- Conduct performance evaluations, coaching, and support team capability growth.
- Promote collaboration, knowledge sharing, and consistent technical proficiency across all shifts.
- Foster a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and operational discipline.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Hands-on experience with IT systems such as Windows Server, Active Directory, Azure, VMware, Microsoft 365, networking, and cloud operations.
- Experience managing system uptime, incident response, and after-hours technical operations.
- Has background in network, cloud, and server administration.
- Operate effectively in a 24/7 high-demand environment.
- Demonstrates strong problem-solving, analytical, and decision-making abilities under time-sensitive conditions.
- Clear and coherent both written and verbal communication skills in English for technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Has at least 3 years experience in supervising a team
- Above average English communication skills
Work Location:
Onsite (Ortigas, Pasig City) at Discovery Suites Bldg across Podium Mall
Work Schedule:
6AM - 3PM PHT / 3PM - 12PM PH Time
