About the Role

Vee8 is seeking a highly experienced and independent
Senior L2 IT Engineer
to manage all IT end-user support activities at our Philippines site. This is a standalone role ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, takes full ownership of IT operations, and is comfortable supporting both local and remote teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary onsite IT support resource for the Vee8 Philippines office.
  • Provide advanced L2 support for desktops, laptops, mobile devices, and enterprise applications (Teams, Zoom, Webex, Citrix, VMware Horizon, Avaya, Calabrio, Cisco Finesse).
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex hardware/software issues and VPN connectivity problems.
  • Administer endpoint devices using ManageEngine Desktop Central, Intune, and WDS.
  • Manage onboarding/offboarding, device provisioning, and access control.
  • Monitor endpoint performance and implement improvements.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of configurations and procedures.
  • Collaborate with remote L1/L2 teams and escalate issues when necessary.
  • Lead automation and scripting efforts using PowerShell and Bash.
  • Participate in IT audits and ensure compliance with company policies.
  • Provide remote support to US-based users as needed.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in IT support and infrastructure management.
  • Proficient in Windows 10/11, macOS, and Linux.
  • Hands-on experience with ManageEngine Desktop Central, Intune, and WDS.
  • Familiarity with Webex, Finesse, Calabrio, and AnyConnect VPN.
  • Intermediate networking knowledge (DHCP, DNS, switching, firewalls).
  • Strong understanding of Active Directory, Group Policy, Office 365, and MS Teams.
  • Scripting skills in PowerShell and Bash.
  • Preferred certifications: ITIL, MCSA, MD-100 / MD-101, CompTIA Security+.
