About the role

We are seeking a talented and motivated Accountant to join one of the growing multinational company, looking for Malaysians who are oppen to relocate across South East Asia where their footprint at. As an Accountant, you will play a crucial role in the financial accounting and reporting operations of our growing company. Your expertise and attention to detail will be essential in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of our financial records.

What you'll be doing

  1. Prepare and maintain accurate financial records, including general ledgers, accounts payable and receivable, and reconciliations
  2. Assist in the preparation of financial statements, budgets, and other financial reports
  3. Conduct regular audits and implement internal controls to ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations
  4. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the timely and accurate reporting of financial information
  5. Stay up-to-date with changes in accounting policies, regulations, and best practices

What we're looking for

  1. Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field
  2. 3-5 years of experience in a similar accounting role, preferably in consumer or fast moving sector
  3. Strong understanding of financial accounting principles, practices, and reporting requirements
  4. Proficient in using accounting software and Microsoft Office suite
  5. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  6. Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy
  7. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  8. Ability to work independently and as part of a team
