Position Summary

The Director of Operations will lead and oversee all aspects of the Prefab Division's operational activities, ensuring efficiency, quality, and profitability across production, logistics, supply chain, and project execution. This senior leadership role is responsible for aligning operations with the company's strategic goals, mentoring the current operations manager, and driving continuous improvement within the context of the Philippine construction and manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Strategic Oversight: Develop and implement operational strategies to improve productivity, reduce costs, and increase output in line with company goals.
  • Team Leadership: Supervise and mentor the operations manager and cross-functional teams; foster accountability and improve team performance.
  • Process Optimization: Streamline production workflows and minimize material waste to meet project timelines and quality standards.
  • Supply Chain Management: Oversee procurement, vendor relations, and logistics while addressing local challenges such as port delays and supplier reliability.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Ensure adherence to local laws and standards (e.g., DOLE labor regulations, DENR environmental permits, building codes).
  • Budget & KPI Management: Manage operational budgets, set key performance indicators (KPIs), and report regularly to the CEO.

Qualifications

  • Licensed Civil/ Structural Engineer
  • 5–10+ years of leadership experience in operations, preferably in prefab, construction, or manufacturing sectors in the Philippines.
  • Strong understanding of local industry dynamics, supply chains, and regulatory requirements.
  • Proven ability to manage teams, improve processes, and deliver results in mid-sized organizations.
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and leadership skills.
