ARCHITECT Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Drafting Duties Prepare accurate architectural drawings using CAD (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit) and manual drafting when necessary. Develop detailed construction drawings, floor plans, elevations, sections, and detail sheets. Coordinate with engineers and consultants to integrate structural, MEP, and other discipline drawings. Maintain and update drawing sets during the design development and construction phases.

2. Design Responsibilities Develop conceptual and schematic designs in alignment with client needs and site conditions. Incorporate functionality, sustainability, and aesthetic value in design proposals. Prepare 3D models, renderings, and presentations for client approvals. Revise designs based on feedback, code requirements, and budget constraints. Ensure compliance with zoning laws, building codes, and safety regulations.

3. Cost Estimation Duties Prepare preliminary and detailed cost estimates for proposed projects. Analyze materials, labor, equipment, and overhead costs. Work closely with quantity surveyors, contractors, and suppliers to refine cost estimates. Recommend cost-effective design alternatives and value engineering options. Monitor budget compliance throughout the project lifecycle.

4. Site Inspection Responsibilities Conduct regular site visits to monitor construction progress and quality. Verify that work is proceeding in accordance with approved drawings, specifications, and safety standards. Coordinate with contractors, subcontractors, and site managers to resolve on-site issues. Prepare site reports, punch lists, and progress documentation. Ensure timely completion of project phases and compliance with timelines.

WORK SCHEDULE: Monday to Friday (Compressed Work Week; May be required to work on Sunday and Holiday --- subject to change of rest day); Saturday and Sunday, Rest Days

WORK HOURS: Monday, 8:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m; Tuesday to Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. (Compressed Work Hours; May be required to work beyond work hours --- subject to adjustment of time the following day/s)
