Renal Sales Specialist

Job Objective:
The Renal Sales Specialist is tasked to represent the company in an assigned territory, area or institution, delivering both sales and marketing functions and ensuring that appropriate services related to these functions are effectively and efficiently being carried out to the market.
Reporting directly to the Sales Manager. Responsible for providing significant information about the market, and consistently update information essential for Renal Sales and Development.
Duties & Responsibilities:
SALES AND TERRITORY MANAGEMENT:
- Develop and execute a comprehensive sales plan for the assigned territory to meet or exceed sales targets.
- Identify and engage with key decision-makers, including nephrologists, renal nurses, hospital administrators, and purchasing departments.
- Conduct regular visits to dialysis centers, hospitals, clinics, and other relevant healthcare facilities.
- Present and promote company products and services to healthcare professionals, addressing their needs and concerns.
CUSTOMER RELATIONSHIP MANAGEMENT:
- Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with customers and key stakeholders within the renal care community.
- Provide exceptional customer service by offering ongoing support, product training, and answering technical inquiries.
- Serve as a trusted advisor to healthcare providers by staying informed about industry trends, clinical guidelines, and product innovations.
PRODUCT KNOWLEDGE AND EDUCATION:
- Maintain in-depth knowledge of the company's renal products, including indications, contraindications, benefits, and competitive advantages.
- Educate healthcare providers on the clinical and economic benefits of the company's renal products.
- Organize and conduct product demonstrations, workshops, and educational seminars.
MARKET ANALYSIS AND REPORTING:
- Monitor and analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to identify opportunities for growth.
- Provide regular sales forecasts, reports, and market intelligence to the Renal Sales Manager.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to develop and implement promotional strategies tailored to the renal market.
COMPLIANCE:
- Ensure all sales activities comply with regulatory requirements, company policies, and industry standards.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., Life Sciences, Business, Marketing)
- At least one (1) year experience on sales role with the same complexity.
- With good communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Relationship building with healthcare professionals, including Nephrologists, Nurses, and purchasing managers, stakeholders.
- Customer-service – end to end support and assistance to clients, ensuring satisfaction and repeat business.
- Empathic and with good adaptability skills.
- Effective and efficient management of time.
- Works and collaborates well with other team members.
- Proven sales experience in the pharmaceutical, medical device, or healthcare industry, preferably in Nephrology or a related specialty.
- Proficiency in sales methodologies and with ability to assess market trends, do market analysis, identify opportunities, and position products effectively.
- Able to deliver product presentations to healthcare professionals emphasizing the products' features and benefits and their use in clinical settings.
- Preferably with knowledge in renal physiology.
- With experience working with Nephrology practices, dialysis centers and hospitals.
- Preferably with knowledge of the regulatory environment related to pharmaceutical and/or renal products.
