  • Conducts training for cycle counting and system booking.
  • Ensures that inventory systems are in place and are followed to achieve at the target Inventory turns per year.
  • Responsible to publish and maintain systems to ensure that on- hand inventory level is kept to a minimum and is aligned with customer demand and firm production schedules.
  • Initiates and tracks actions to mitigate risk associated with E&O and Aging Materials through coordination with Production Planning Supervisors and Production Supervisors.
  • Ensures that Inventory Control system are in place to achieve the target E&O rate at any given time.
  • In-charge in for daily cycle counting and inventory-taking analysis to check material accuracy.
  • Ensures that inventory control system is in place to achieve at the target inventory accuracy.
  • Develops and implements inventory control systems and procedures in line with Materials Management goal and objectives.
  • Abides by the rule and ways of working related to Material Management.
  • Generates Reports as required to monitor and analyze the company's material exposure such as but not limited to:
  • Daily Ending On Hand (EOH) Report
  • Weekly Aging Report
  • Weekly Excess and Obsolete Report
  • Excess and Obsolete for Selling
  • Class A excess deliveries
  • Ensure proper coordination between Bookers and concerned departments to resolve booking issues.

  • Checks and recommends approval of MAS and SAAS.
  • Reviews reports related to inventory/material management such as Direct Material consumption.
  • Works towards the section's Key performance Indicators (KPI).
  • Responsible for endorsement of Quality records.
  • Performs other functions as may be required by his/her superior after due training / qualification.
