JOB SUMMARY:

The OIC / Restaurant Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the restaurant to ensure excellent customer service, efficient staff performance, and adherence to company standards. This role serves as the Officer-in-Charge (OIC) in the absence of the Restaurant Manager and ensures smooth coordination between kitchen and service teams.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Supervise daily restaurant operations, ensuring consistent service quality and food safety.

Monitor staff performance, attendance, and grooming standards.

Handle customer inquiries, feedback, and complaints in a professional manner.

Ensure that the restaurant maintains cleanliness, order, and compliance with health and safety regulations.

Coordinate with the kitchen for timely and accurate food preparation and delivery.

Assist in inventory management, including ordering, receiving, and controlling food and beverage supplies.

Prepare daily sales reports, cash reconciliations, and other operational documentation.

Train and motivate team members to deliver excellent service and achieve sales targets.

Support the Restaurant Manager in implementing promotions, events, and new operational procedures.

Act as the point person and decision-maker during the Restaurant Manager's absence.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or related field (preferred).

At least 2–3 years of experience in a supervisory or OIC role in the restaurant or food service industry.

Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Knowledge of restaurant operations, POS systems, and inventory control.

Customer-oriented with the ability to handle pressure and resolve conflicts effectively.

Willing to work on shifting schedules, weekends, and holidays.
