About the role

Metro Industries, Inc. is seeking a driven and detail-oriented Inventory Clerk to join our team in Calamba City, Laguna. This is a full-time position that will be responsible for maintaining accurate inventory records and ensuring efficient stock management.

What you'll be doing

• Conduct regular stock counts and reconciliation to maintain accurate inventory records
• Process incoming and outgoing shipments, verifying quantities and condition of goods
• Assist in the proper storage and organization of inventory items in the warehouse
• Liaise with the procurement team to identify inventory needs and replenishment requirements
• Provide support in the preparation of inventory reports and analysis
• Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures related to inventory management
• Assist with physical inventory audits and cycle counts
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve inventory discrepancies

What we're looking for

• At least 2 years of experience as an Inventory Clerk or in a similar role within the manufacturing, trading, logistics or retail industry
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy with numerical data
• Proficient in using inventory management software and Microsoft Office applications
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
• Good communication and problem-solving skills
• Knowledge of inventory control best practices and warehouse operations
• Willingness to learn and adapt to new processes and systems
