About the role

We are seeking a talented Medical Secretary / Cashier to join our growing team at Cervo Medical Clinic/ 1421 Medical Services. This is a full-time position based in Taguig City, Metro Manila. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for providing administrative support to our medical staff and handling all financial transactions with patients.

What you'll be doing

  • Manage patient appointments, including scheduling, rescheduling and cancellations
  • Greet patients and visitors in a friendly and professional manner
  • Prepare and maintain accurate patient medical records and files
  • Assist in minor operations - from the preparation of medical supplies to assisting the doctor and patient in the actual procedure until the preparation of the OR area ready to be used in the next procedure
  • Handle all financial transactions, including collecting payments, processing insurance claims and maintaining detailed financial records
  • Provide general administrative support to the medical team as required
  • Ensure the front office area is well-organised and maintained
  • Contribute to creating a positive patient experience

What we're looking for

  • At least 2 years experience as a medical secretary with exposure to cashiering or in a similar administrative role within a healthcare environment
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both English and the local language
  • Strong organisational and multitasking abilities with attention to detail
  • Proficient in using office softwares in the computer
  • Knowledge of medical terminology and healthcare administration procedures
  • Ability to maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to data protection regulations
  • A friendly, customer-service oriented approach with a genuine interest in healthcare
