Cashier is responsible for accurately processing financial transactions, ensuring seamless payment experiences for patients, and maintaining accurate cash records. This role requires excellent customer service skills to create a positive impression on patients while managing point-of-sale (POS) transactions, handling inquiries, and supporting clinic operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Cash Handling & Transactions:

  2. Process sales transactions efficiently, including cash, credit/debit cards, and other payment methods.

  3. Accurately calculate and collect payments for clinic services, treatments, and retail products.
  4. Maintain adequate change denominations in the cash drawer and request additional funds when necessary.

  5. Ensure proper recording of transactions, issue receipts, and handle refunds or returns as per clinic policies.

  6. Customer Service & Patient Interaction:

  7. Greet and assist patients with a friendly and professional demeanor.

  8. Answer inquiries related to services, promotions, pricing, and payment methods.
  9. Address patient concerns and escalate issues to management when necessary.

  10. Ensure a pleasant and smooth checkout experience for every patient.

  11. Cash Reconciliation & Reporting:

  12. Balance the cash register at the beginning and end of each shift.

  13. Reconcile cash drawers, sales receipts, and ensure accuracy in financial records.
  14. Generate and submit daily sales reports to the Finance or Clinic Manager.

  15. Report any discrepancies, equipment issues, or transaction errors immediately.

  16. Operational Support:

  17. Assist in maintaining a clean and organized front desk and cashier area.

  18. Ensure compliance with clinic policies regarding payments and financial procedures.
  19. Support administrative tasks as required by the management.

Qualifications & Requirements:

  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent (Associate's/Bachelor's degree preferred).
  • Experience: Minimum of 1-2 years of cashier, front desk, or customer service experience, preferably in an aesthetic, medical, or hospitality setting.
  • Skills & Competencies:
  • Strong numerical skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills.
  • Basic knowledge of POS systems, Microsoft Office, and accounting principles.
  • Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Trustworthy, reliable, and professional in handling transactions.
