Job Summary:

The Store Cashier is responsible for providing excellent customer service, accurately handling cash and card transactions, and maintaining a clean and organized checkout area. The ideal candidate is friendly, detail-oriented, and able to work efficiently in a fast-paced retail environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Greet customers warmly and assist with any inquiries.
  • Operate cash registers, scanners, and POS systems to process sales transactions accurately.
  • Handle cash, credit/debit cards, and other payment methods following store policies.
  • Issue receipts, refunds, or exchanges as necessary.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization at the checkout area.
  • Assist in stocking shelves, organizing displays, and keeping inventory neat.
  • Report any discrepancies, customer complaints, or technical issues to management.
  • Follow store policies, safety guidelines, and security procedures.
  • Support team members and contribute to a positive store atmosphere.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • High school diploma or equivalent (preferred).
  • Previous cashier or retail experience (an asset, but not required).
  • Strong math and communication skills.
  • Customer-focused with a friendly and professional attitude.
  • Ability to handle transactions quickly and accurately.
  • Reliable, punctual, and able to work flexible hours, including weekends or holidays.
  • Basic computer and POS system knowledge.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to stand for extended periods.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent, Fresh graduate

Pay: Php16, Php18,000.00 per month
