The Role

We are experienced and strategic Chief Risk Officer to join our dynamic team in Makati City, Metro Manila. This full-time, permanent role will be integral to the growth and risk management of our financial services division.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Develop, implement and maintain robust credit risk policies, frameworks and procedures to identify, assess, mitigate and monitor credit risk across the organisation
  2. Lead the credit risk management function, including credit assessment, portfolio monitoring, and analysis of credit trends and exposures
  3. Work closely with business units to ensure appropriate credit risk practices and controls are in place
  4. Provide timely and insightful credit risk reporting to senior management and the Board
  5. Actively participate in the credit committee and other relevant management committees
  6. Foster a strong risk culture and work collaboratively across the organisation
  7. Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, guidelines and internal policies
  8. Lead, mentor and develop a talented credit risk team

What We're Looking For

  1. Extensive experience (10+ years) in credit risk management, preferably in the banking or financial services industry
  2. Proven track record of developing and implementing effective credit risk frameworks and policies
  3. Strong technical expertise in credit risk assessment, modelling, and portfolio management
  4. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate complex data into meaningful insights
  5. Demonstrated leadership skills and the ability to build and motivate high-performing teams
  6. Thorough understanding of relevant regulations and industry best practices
  7. Master's degree in Finance, Economics, or a related field is highly desirable
