The Office of the Chief Financial Officer ensures the organization's fiscal strength and sustainability by leading financial planning, budgeting, accounting, treasury, investments, risk, and compliance. It safeguards resources, monitors revenues and expenditures, and delivers accurate, transparent reporting to support informed strategic decisions.

The office collaborates with all departments to align financial activities with corporate priorities, manages funding and capital requirements, evaluates growth opportunities, and ensures compliance with statutory and regulatory standards. Working closely with the CEO and Board of Directors, it drives sustainable growth, operational efficiency, and strong fiscal governance.

Job Summary

The Chief Financial Officer (CFO) provides strategic financial leadership to safeguard the company's financial health and long-term sustainability. This role oversees all financial planning, management, and reporting activities while ensuring compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements.

As a key member of the executive team, the CFO develops financial strategies, manages risk, secures funding, and optimizes resources to support growth and operational excellence. The CFO advises the CEO, Board of Directors, and senior leadership on financial performance, investment opportunities, and risk management while driving financial discipline, operational efficiency, and long-term value creation.

Key Accountabilities

Job Authority & HSE Accountability

• Supports company HSE initiatives and ensures continuity plans address safety, cyber resilience, and compliance.
• Approves budgets, capital expenditures, and investments within policy and delegated limits.
• Recommends strategic partnerships, divestitures, and capital allocation (subject to Board approval).
• Decides on allocation of financial resources to support priorities and risk management.
• Performs other duties as assigned by the President.

Physical & Mental Demands

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or Business Administration (required).
• Master's degree (MBA or related field) preferred.
• CPA, CFA, or equivalent certification (required).
• Additional certifications in governance, risk management, or strategic finance (preferred).

Professional Experience

• At least 20 years of progressive finance/accounting experience, including 10+ years in a senior leadership role.
• Strong background in corporate finance, treasury, risk management, and compliance.
• Exposure to fintech/financial services industry preferred.
