Purchasing Assistant

About the role

We are seeking a driven and detail-oriented Purchasing Assistant to join our dynamic team at Amorita Resort in Palawan, Mimaropa. As a full-time Purchasing Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting the efficient procurement of goods and services required to maintain the high standards of our luxyry resort.

Responsibilities:

1. Assist the Purchasing Manager in the procurement of a wide range of goods and services, including hotel supplies, equipment, and other operational requirements
2. Liaise with vendors and suppliers to obtain competitive quotes, negotiate pricing, and ensure timely delivery of materials
3. Maintain accurate records of all purchasing activities, including purchase orders, invoices, and inventory levels
4. Support the identification and evaluation of new suppliers to expand the resort's procurement network
5. Collaborate with other departments to understand their requirements and ensure the timely fulfilment of their needs

Qualifications:

1. Graduate of any four-year bachelor's degree program
2. Strong negotiation and vendor management skills
3. Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities to effectively liaise with internal and external stakeholders
4. Proficient in using procurement software and Microsoft Office applications
5. Attention to detail and the ability to maintain accurate records and documentation
6. A team player with a strong customer-service orientation
