  1. Gather technical requirements and manage the development of high to low-level designs, drawing plans, and shop drawings.

  2. Design systems including structured cabling, power, and grounding cabling.

  3. Supervise the installation works for AFCS components, including turnstiles, automatic gates, BMS, access control systems, structured cabling, fiber optic, network switches, and UPS.

  4. Coordinate and communicate with project stakeholders.

  5. Work directly with customers and contractors on-site.

  6. Supervise vendors and suppliers/principals for contracted scope of installation.

  7. Ensure adherence to health and safety policies on-site.

  8. Manage the completion of project documents, submission to customers, and project acceptance.

  9. Support project engineers and project managers in planning, scheduling, and executing project tasks.

  10. Assist in troubleshooting and resolving technical issues during installation and post-installation phases.

  11. Design cabling systems and prepare Bill of Quantities (BOQ) for projects.

  12. Report to the Project Engineer and/or Project Manager.

Qualifications:

  1. Bachelor/College Degree in Electrical Engineering (EE) or Electronics and Communications Engineering (ECE).

  2. Minimum of 3 years of strong work-related experience in AFCS, turnstiles, automatic gates, BMS, access control systems, structured cabling, fiber optic, network switches, UPS, or equivalent exposure.

  3. Must have an active license in EE/ECE.

  4. Holding a Construction Occupational Safety and Health (COSH) Certificate is a plus.

  5. Clear understanding of setup and troubleshooting of various AFCS components (turnstiles, automatic gates, BMS, access control systems, structured cabling, fiber optic, network switches, UPS).

  6. Experience in cabling design, including structured cabling systems, power, and grounding cabling, and preparation of Bill of Quantities (BOQ).

  7. Proficiency in AutoCAD for creating detailed design drawings.

  8. Strong business acumen with a keen interest in keeping up to date with current technologies.

  9. Good analytical and problem-solving skills.

  10. Customer-oriented, with a positive disposition and attitude even when faced with challenges.

  11. Good verbal and written communication skills, with presentation and negotiation skills.

  12. Computer literate.
