Tax Preparation and Accounting Services
Work Schedule:
January to May (Tax Season):
- Mondays to Saturdays, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
June to December (Slack Season):
- Mondays to Fridays, 7:00 AM – 5:30 PM
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the preparation and review of clients' monthly, quarterly, and annual BIR tax forms.
- Conduct basic tax research under the guidance of the Accounting Supervisor and Senior Accountant to ensure compliance with current tax laws.
- Provide support to clients on tax-related inquiries and concerns.
- Help manage assigned client accounts while ensuring compliance with SEC, BIR, LGU, SSS, PAGIBIG, PhilHealth, and DOLE.
- Assist with various accounting engagements and project tasks such as Business Registration, Business Closure, and Amendments for SEC, DTI, BIR, LGU, SSS, PAGIBIG, PhilHealth, DOLE, and NPC.
- Contribute to improving client satisfaction by offering proactive support and delivering accurate work.
Duties for Assigned Client Accounts:
- File monthly BIR taxes via eBIR, eFPS, and/or VAT RELIEF.
- Perform manual bookkeeping and maintain accurate client records.
- Join monthly client visits or meetings and prepare documentation/meeting notes.
- Assist in preparing semi-monthly payroll for assigned clients.
- Support in filing monthly BIR/LGU taxes and mandatory government contributions.
- Generate expense vouchers, monthly P&L reports, and tax estimates using Google Sheets.
- Perform bookkeeping using MS Excel/Google Sheets or client-designated accounting software.
- Help prepare annual financial statements, income tax returns, general information sheets, and other compliance-related documents.
Qualifications:
- Graduate of BS Accountancy, Management Accounting, or any related accounting program.
- 1–2 years of tax or accounting experience is an advantage but not required.
- Preferably a Certified Tax Technician (CTT), Bookkeeping NCIII holder, or CSE passer.
- Strong willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
- Positive attitude and strong teamwork skills.
- High attention to detail and accuracy.
- Basic proficiency in MS Office and/or Google Workspace.
