We are seeking a highly experienced and detail-oriented
Finance Senior Associate
to join our Record-to-Report (RTR) team. This role is critical in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of our financial records. The ideal candidate will be responsible for a wide range of general accounting activities, including journal entries, account reconciliations, statutory reporting, and supporting the month-end close process. This position requires a strong command of SAP FICO, a solid understanding of accounting principles, and the ability to thrive in a dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities:

General Accounting & Month-End Close:

• Prepare and post journal entries in SAP FICO for daily and month-end transactions, including but not limited to disbursements, billings, accruals, depreciation, and purchases.
• Perform month-end and year-end closing activities, ensuring all deadlines are met.
• Assist in the preparation of accurate and timely monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with accounting standards.
• Maintain and balance subsidiary accounts by verifying, allocating, posting, and reconciling transactions.
• Investigate and resolve accounting discrepancies and irregularities promptly.

Account Reconciliation & Analysis:

• Prepare detailed account reconciliations and schedules on a monthly basis.
• Analyze financial data and provide clear explanations for fluctuations.
• Maintain organized and auditable supporting documentation for all financial transactions.

Statutory Compliance & Reporting:

• Prepare and file mandatory government reports accurately and on time (e.g., BIR VAT returns, Income Tax Returns, Withholding Tax remittances).
• Ensure strict adherence to local taxation rules and regulations.
• Provide support during internal and external financial audits.

Process Support & Documentation:

• Ensure proper documentation and filing of vouchers and other supporting documents for all FICO transactions.
• Verify documentation and prepare purchase orders and payment requests as needed.
• Identify opportunities for process improvement and efficiency within the RTR function.

Qualifications and Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• With at least 5 years of experience/exposure in
  General Accounting
  ,
  AR
  , and
  AP
• 1-3 years' experience as a Senior Accountant or in a Leadership role
• Has knowledge and experience in account reconciliation and analysis.
• Basic knowledge in
  Taxation rules
  (VAT, withholding tax, etc.)
• Basic knowledge in Financial Planning and Analysis.
• Has work knowledge in an
  ERP
  , preferably
  SAP FICO
• Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills in English.
• Proven ability to be a collaborative team player in a fast-paced environment.
• Self-motivated, proactive, and able to manage multiple priorities effectively.
• Amenable to render extended work hours during critical periods such as month-end and year-end close.
