Maintenance Supervisor

Tubotech Plumbing Products Philippines Corporation is located at the Laguna International Industrial Park (LIIP) Mamplasan, Biñan, Laguna established in 2007. Tubotech Philippines is the manufacturing base for our head office located in Australia.

Tubotech specializes in the design and manufacture of stainless-steel tubular products such as bathroom support rails, shower seats, faucets, bathroom accessories, and plumbing components. Manufacturing processes include CNC bending, TIG welding, Metal Polishing, CNC Lathe, and CNC Machining Centre.

Our goal is to produce products that are appreciated for their quality and workmanship, provide competitive pricing and good service to achieve an excellent reputation in both domestic and international markets.

Position Statement:

The Maintenance Supervisor is responsible for managing and leading the maintenance and facilities team, ensuring seamless coordination with the production and other departments. This position involves maintaining operational efficiency by keeping all the processes, building equipment and machineries in operating condition to minimize or even eliminate downtime and ensure production efficiency.

Job Description:

1. General Maintenance & Facilities Management

• Plans, organizes, and schedules all regular maintenance work on all equipment and equipment systems within the factory to minimize or eliminate unwanted / unscheduled downtime.
• Maintains and implements safety procedures to ensure smooth manufacturing operations and the safety of operators and workplace in compliance with machine safety rules and safeguards.
• Implements and enforces the company's operating procedures and policies by putting them into practice and ensures team's compliance with the requirements as outlined by certifying authorities such as PEZA OBO, PTO for civil, mechanical, electrical, electronics, pressurized vessel etc.
• Maintains the good condition and efficiency of all facility equipment and machinery in production
• Evaluates equipment including preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance
• Handles and accomplishes all Maintenance Service Requests such as job order as assigned
• Follows Day Planner, Monthly Calendar, and Maintenance Plan
• Completes occasional fabrication, plumbing, carpentry, painting, and masonry tasks
• Checks and follows-up on all materials needed in every fabrication work project
• Responsible for Inventory Control of Machine/Equipment spare parts
• Conducts monthly checking of emergency lights, fire hoses, fire extinguisher, perimeter lights, high bay lamp and all building maintenance

2. Continuous Improvement

• Develops, suggests, and implements operational improvements in coordination with Production & Planning Manager to enhance product quality, improve production, throughput and reduce costs

3. Government Compliance

• Responsible for overseeing and processing applications for various business licenses and permits to operate (e.g., fire safety, building safety, sanitary, electrical, electronics, mechanical permits, annual PEZA audit etc.)
• Generates reports and achieve compliance with environmental legislation
• Monitors the effectiveness of professional licenses of his/her and the staff and ensure on-time renewal.

Job Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering with a valid Mechanical Engineering License
• At least 3 years of supervisory experience in maintenance and facilities within a manufacturing environment.
• Proven expertise in implementing preventive maintenance programs.
• Knowledgeable in Spare Parts Management
• In-dept understanding of quality control standards and lean manufacturing principles
• Excellent leadership and problem-solving skills
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Strong ability to multitask effectively.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Php25, Php30,000.00 per month

Experience:

• Maintenance Supervisor: 3 years (Preferred)
