Position Summary:

Due to organic growth, we are looking to employ an experienced Senior Electrical Team Leader to assist with the Design of LV/MV/HV Electrical systems including Main Switchboards, Motor Control Centres, Distribution Boards, PLC panels, control panels and outdoor enclosures. You will be responsible for looking after Trivantage Manufacturing's Philippines design and drafting team ensuring projects are produced on time to a high specification.

Key Responsibilities:

• Working with the Manufacturing Division's Design and Engineering team to deliver set goals and objectives.
• Supervise Design & Drafting team in the Philippines.
• Scheduling all work within the team and ensuring deadlines are met both internally with production and externally with clients and within budget.
• Ensuring that all design results from the design team meet the customer's requirements in accordance with the company, Statutory, Regulatory, and relevant Australian Standards i.e. AS/NZS 61439 and project specific specifications.
• Liaising with all relevant stakeholders to ensure that design requirements and documentation are obtained, communicated, and understood by all stakeholders.
• Actively taking part in all the Manufacturing Division's Safety requirements set by the client.
• Actively working with and ensuring that all Quality and Environmental System requirements for the Manufacturing Division are being met with a positive attitude.
• Designing circuit diagrams and switchboard general arrangements using AutoCAD as required.
• Motivating and encouraging the design team.
• Overseeing the design process using technical expertise.
• Reviewing designs with health and safety in mind.
• Avoiding errors and reducing financial risk during construction.

Requirements:

• Tertiary Engineering qualification or trade certificate.
• Minimum 6 years experience in electrical design & drafting particularly in the switchboard industry.
• Knowledge in electrical switchboards, control systems, motor control, power distribution electrical installations, and manufacturing
• Ability to work in a team environment
• Proficient use of AutoCAD and Microsoft Office packages
• Working knowledge of all guidelines, Statutory and Regulatory and the new Australian Standard specification relevant to the design of switchboards
• Ability to communicate effectively at all levels Willingness to work as directed
• Self-motivated and enthusiastic outlook Leadership experience and/or aspirations
• Possess excellent knowledge and experience with commonly used supplier equipment such as Siemens, ABB, Schneider and NHP
• Provides clear technical direction and leadership
• Inspires high performance
