General Responsibilities

  • Coordinate designs with engineering and planning teams in accordance with client specifications
  • Prepare design drawings including plans, detailed formats, and profiles as designated by engineering
  • Draft site drawings based on specific details and/or architect's drawings
  • Produce 2D or 3D imagery as per client instructions, using panel sketches or elevation drawings
  • Prepare detailed working drawings, designs, plans, models, and schemes using relevant software (e.g., ArchiCAD and/or AutoCAD)
  • Include sketches or details not specified on existing drawings to accurately reflect as-installed field conditions
  • Revise plans based on redlined mark-ups and assist in resolving design issues
  • Collaborate with design team members to produce construction documents and exhibits
  • Ensure quality and consistency across all creative designs and plans
  • Provide quality control for practicality and constructability of designs
  • Maintain excellent project communication using evolving tools and processes
  • Work closely with other teams on structure modeling, detailed drawings, file management, and submittal package preparation
  • Attend meetings and contribute ideas to improve processes or client designs
  • Create templates, families, and libraries to improve future project efficiency
  • Stay updated on new developments and trends in the design industry

Position Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Architecture, Engineering, Drafting Technology, or equivalent
  • Proficient in CAD & BIM software, especially ArchiCAD
  • 2–3 years of experience using ArchiCAD and/or AutoCAD for design creation
  • Strong CAD skills and attention to detail
  • Knowledge of construction and joinery design
  • Flair for interior design solutions, concepts, and presentations for retail and commercial clients
  • Ability to interpret drawings and schematics and produce presentation-quality visuals
  • Creative mindset with strong problem-solving skills
  • Excellent portfolio showcasing previous work
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including presentation ability
  • Highly productive, enthusiastic, detail-oriented, and quality-focused
  • Ability to work efficiently and meet deadlines
