Structural CAD Drafter

We are looking for an experienced Structural CAD Drafter to produce high-quality technical drawings and construction documents for structural engineering projects. The ideal candidate will have strong technical drafting skills and experience working on diverse structural projects from concept through construction.

Responsibilities:

  • Produce detailed structural drawings including plans, sections, elevations, and details using 2D CAD and 3D Revit
  • Create construction documents for steel, concrete, and wood structural systems
  • Develop reinforcement schedules, connection details, and fabrication drawings
  • Incorporate structural engineer's calculations and sketches into final construction drawings
  • Ensure drawings comply with company standards, project specifications, and applicable codes
  • Coordinate with other disciplines to resolve conflicts and maintain drawing consistency
  • Perform quality control checks on own work and assist with team reviews
  • Make revisions based on engineer feedback and design changes
  • Maintain organized project files and documentation
  • Support construction administration by preparing revised drawings and responding to field questions

Qualification:

  • Associate degree in CAD/Drafting, Engineering Technology, or equivalent technical training
  • Minimum 3 years of professional drafting experience on structural engineering projects
  • Expert proficiency in 2D CAD software (AutoCAD or equivalent)
  • Strong proficiency in 3D BIM software (Revit Structure preferred)
  • Solid understanding of structural drafting conventions and standards
  • Experience drafting for steel, concrete, and wood structures
  • Understanding of structural engineering principles and construction methods
  • Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to meet deadlines

Nice to Have:

  • Formal training or certification in CAD/Revit
  • Experience with structural detailing and shop drawing production
  • Familiarity with U.S. Building Codes and construction specifications
  • Knowledge of additional software tools (Navisworks, Bluebeam, etc.)
  • Experience with bridge or civil infrastructure projects
  • Understanding of construction sequencing and means/methods
  • Previous experience working in an engineering consulting environment

Additional Information:

  • Homebased, must have at least 25 mbps internet connection
  • M to F, 9pm to 6am Manila Time
