KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  1. Verify delivery documents against actual items received & inspect incoming assets (terminals, peripherals, SIMs, accessories, etc.) for completeness and damage
  2. Record received items in the Inventory Management System (IMS), assign asset tags, barcodes, or identification numbers as required
  3. Segregate and store assets according to category and condition, report discrepancies, shortages, overages, or damages to the immediate superior.
  4. Maintain accurate and up-to-date asset records in IMS or manual logs, conduct regular physical inventory counts, and reconcile variances
  5. Monitor asset levels and identify reorder or replenishment needs & generate daily, weekly, and monthly inventory reports for management review
  6. Analyse trends in asset movement and usage to support operational planning & ensure compliance with company policies, quality objectives, and IMS procedures
  7. Retrieve and verify requested assets against approved requests or pull-out forms & prepare assets for release, ensuring they are complete and in the correct condition
  8. Endorse assets only to authorized personnel with proper acknowledgement receipts and update IMS records immediately after each release to ensure real-time accuracy
  9. Maintain proper documentation for all releases, transfers, or endorsements
  10. Ensure timely release of assets within service-level targets and reporting of any irregularities, unauthorized requests, or release errors to the supervisor
  11. Organize and maintain asset storage areas for easy accessibility by management
  12. Handle assets with proper safety and handling practices to prevent damage or loss
  13. Perform other related tasks as may be required by the immediate superior or management.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • A graduate of any four-year course
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to work under time pressure
  • Good organizational and communication skills
  • Good oral and written communication
  • Computer-literate with Windows-based applications
