Your role:

As an Inventory and Purchasing Staff, you will:

Key Responsibilities:

1. General Accounting

-Maintain accurate financial records and ensure compliance with GAAP/IFRS.

-Prepare journal entries, reconciliations, and month-end closing reports.

-Assist in financial analysis, budgeting, and forecasting.

2. Inventory Management

-Monitor inventory transactions, adjustments, and valuations.

-Reconcile physical stock with system balances on a regular basis.

-Track cost of goods sold (COGS) and ensure accurate reporting.

-Coordinate with warehouse/logistics for cycle counts and stock audits.

3. Purchasing & Vendor Management

-Process purchase orders, invoices, and vendor payments.

-Verify vendor contracts, pricing, and terms for accuracy.

-Maintain vendor records and reconcile statements of account.

-Support the procurement team with financial analysis of supplier performance.

4. QuickBooks System

-Enter and maintain transactions in QuickBooks (AP, AR, inventory, payroll if applicable).

-Generate and analyze QuickBooks reports for management.

-Implement process improvements for efficiency in QuickBooks workflows.

5. Compliance & Controls

-Ensure proper internal controls are in place for inventory and purchasing cycles.

-Assist with external audits and provide required documentation.

-Comply with company policies, tax regulations, and financial reporting standards.

Qualifications:

-Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.

-2-5 years of experience in accounting, with emphasis on financial statement preparation

-background in inventory management and purchasing

-Proficiency in QuickBooks (Desktop and/or Online).

-Strong knowledge of accounting principles and inventory costing methods (FIFO, weighted average, etc.).

-Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills (oral and written).

-Proficiency in MS Excel and other Microsoft Office tools.
