Job description

  • Assembly and dis-assembly of drill rigs or crane components for transport or operation purposes.
  • Check, repair and recondition all equipment prior to delivery to specified job site.
  • Troubleshoot and repairs of equipment at Yard and Project sites.
  • Monitor condition of equipment in coordination with Yard Mechanical Engineer and Site Engineers for proper maintenance, preventive maintenance or minor remedy
  • Coordination with warehouseman for needed parts and materials.
  • Proper housekeeping of the workshop and job site work areas
  • Performs preventive maintenance on equipment/ machines
  • Troubleshoots and repairs equipment/ machines
  • Prepares complete daily maintenance and repair logs
  • Coordinates with operators from other shifts
  • Maintains and secures work tools
  • Checks and schedules work in strict coordination with operations department
  • Cleans and maintains work area
  • Orders parts as needed to maintain stock; picks up parts
  • Performs other related duties as assigned
