Position Overview

The Seasonal Catering Head is responsible for managing KC's Kitchen catering operations during peak seasons and booked events. This role ensures smooth coordination with the kitchen, operations, and client representatives, while leading the catering team to deliver excellent service and uphold company standards.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

Event Planning & Preparation

  • Coordinate with management and clients to confirm catering requirements.
  • Ensure client contracts are finalized, signed, and notarized prior to event execution.
  • Prepare event plans, including menu execution, staffing, and logistics.
  • Conduct ocular inspections of venues as part of event planning and preparation.
  • Ensure timely preparation, delivery, and setup of food and equipment.
  • Verify that food quantity and quality meet KC's Kitchen standards before dispatch.

Onsite Leadership & Supervision

  • Lead the catering team during setup, service, and pack-down.
  • Supervise buffet/table arrangements, food presentation, and service flow.
  • Monitor arrival, preparation, and setup times to ensure events start on schedule.
  • Act as the main point of contact for clients onsite, resolving concerns promptly.

Inventory & Logistics

  • Account for catering tools, utensils, and equipment before and after each event.
  • Submit post-event reports on consumption, shortages, or damages.
  • Coordinate with the Inventory Control Clerk for replenishment and safekeeping.

Staff Coordination

  • Handle staff scheduling and assignments for catering events.
  • Guide catering staff to ensure smooth service.
  • Enforce KC's Kitchen standards on grooming, uniform, and conduct.
  • Provide feedback to management on staff performance.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 2 years' experience in catering, banquets, or food service operations.
  • Strong leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and client-handling abilities.
  • Willing to work on weekends, holidays, and flexible hours based on event schedules.
  • Physically fit to handle long hours of standing, moving, and event supervision.

Work Arrangement

  • Seasonal / project-based depending on confirmed catering events.
  • Primarily scheduled during weekends, holidays, and peak company catering dates.

Job Type: Fixed term

Contract length: 3 months

Pay: Php23, Php25,000.00 per month
