The Night Vision Group is Australia's leading group in night vision, thermal imaging and outdoor technology.

We're looking for a passionate and technically skilled Web Developer & Marketing Automation Specialist to join our team full-time.

You'll take full ownership of rebuilding and optimising our wholesale e-commerce website structure and design through to functionality, integrations and performance. Once launched, you'll maintain and improve the sits long-term, while also managing our email marketing automations, customer journeys, and sales funnel integrations (ActiveCampaign, WooCommerce, Shopify, Zoho etc).

This is a hands-on role for someone who loves combining clean, high-performing web builds with smart, automated marketing systems that drive real results across a growing multi-brand business.

Key Responsibilities:

Website Development & Maintenance

  • Rebuild the TNVS website (Wordpress/Woocommerce) from the ground up.
  • Create a visually strong, high-converting and easy-to-navigate site aligned with our brand.
  • Implement all required plugins, integrations, and wholesale functionality.
  • Manage performance, speed, security, and SEO best practices.
  • Maintain and continually optimise the site post-launch (testing, updates, fixes).

Marketing Automation & CRM

  • Redesign and rebuild our automated email flows including lead nurturing, post-purchase follow-ups, and promotional campaigns (ActiveCampaign).
  • Integrate WooCommerce with ActiveCampaign to track user behaviour, automate tagging, and trigger emails based on purchase and browsing activity.
  • Improve customer segmentation and communication efficiency across both B2B and B2C audiences.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to optimise email content, timing, and testing.

Skills & Experience

  • Proven experience building and maintaining WordPress/WooCommerce websites.
  • Experience with Zoho
  • Strong understanding of PHP, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
  • Experience with ActiveCampaign (or similar: Klaviyo, Mailchimp) including building multi-step automations and custom tagging.
  • Solid understanding of e-commerce marketing funnels, CRO, and analytics.
  • Familiarity with API integrations, schema markup, and technical SEO.
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Bonus: experience with graphic optimisation, landing page design, or wholesale plugins.
