JOB SUMMARY:

ERP Developer customizes, develops, and maintains the ERPNext system to support business operations. The role handles module development, system integration, data migration, and performance optimization while collaborating with departments to deliver efficient, automated solutions and providing ongoing technical support.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. ERPNext Design & Development

  • Customize, configure, and develop ERPNext modules.
  • Create custom forms, reports, dashboards, and workflows.
  • Develop server-side scripts, custom APIs, and client-side logic.

2. System Implementation & Integration

  • Participate in the full ERP lifecycle: requirements, development, testing, deployment, and support.
  • Integrate ERP with external systems (CRM, HRIS, Accounting).
  • Manage accurate data migration and conduct unit, integration, and UAT testing.

3. Maintenance & Support

  • Troubleshoot ERP issues and optimize system performance.
  • Monitor system health, logs, and data integrity.
  • Provide documentation, user training, and post-implementation support.

4. Collaboration & Process Improvement

  • Coordinate with business units to gather requirements and deliver solutions.
  • Implement automation to improve processes and reduce manual work.
  • Recommend system upgrades and ensure compliance with data security standards.

5. Other tasks assigned by the IT Head/Manager.

QUALIFICATIONS

Education: Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.

Experience:

  • 2–4 years as ERP Developer, Software Developer, or Systems Analyst.
  • Experience in ERP customization, implementation, and system integration.

Skills:

  • ERP Platforms: ERPNext, Odoo, SAP, NetSuite, Dynamics 365.
  • Programming: Python, JavaScript, TypeScript, SQL, HTML/CSS.
  • Tools/Frameworks: Frappe, , REST APIs, JSON.
  • Database: MariaDB/MySQL, PostgreSQL, or similar.
  • Version Control: Git, GitHub, GitLab.
  • Server Management: Linux, Docker, deployment environments.
  • Reporting: Custom reports, analytics, dashboards.
  • Security: Authentication, encryption, access controls.
  • Strong understanding of core business processes (accounting, sales, inventory, procurement, HR).
  • Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills; able to work independently or with teams.

Preferred (Optional):

  • Experience in Frappe/ERPNext development.
  • API integration (payment gateways, SMS, CRM).
  • Knowledge of Agile/Scrum.
  • Familiarity with Docker, NGINX, Linux, and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure).
