Job Overview

Diamond Industries is looking for an External Relations Officer who will be responsible for managing relationships with government offices, business partners, and community organizations. The role requires both office-based tasks and fieldwork, including deployment to various project sites and regular visits to external agencies. This position ensures that company operations remain compliant, well-coordinated, and supported by strong external partnerships.

Key Responsibilities

  • Represent the company in dealings with government offices for permits, licenses, and regulatory compliance.
  • Conduct regular site visits to support operations and ensure proper coordination with local authorities.
  • Build and maintain relationships with stakeholders that contribute to smooth business operations.
  • Support management during external meetings, inspections, and industry-related events.
  • Prepare and submit necessary documents, reports, and correspondence to external offices.

Working System & Job Conditions

  • Combination of office-based work and field deployment.
  • Frequent coordination with government agencies, contractors, and local communities.
  • Requires flexibility to travel to project sites as needed.
  • May involve extended hours during peak project timelines or urgent compliance requirements.
  • Work closely with internal teams to ensure alignment between site operations and external requirements.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Public Relations, Communications, or related field.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
  • Experience in liaising with government offices or handling compliance processes is an advantage.
  • Organized, reliable, and able to manage multiple tasks effectively.
  • Willingness to travel and adapt to field-based work conditions.
