Job Dimensions and Relationships:

As a Digital Designer, you will be responsible for creating high-quality digital content, including animations, HTML5 banners, and social media assets, based on creative concepts provided by the team. Your role requires a deep understanding of digital specifications, platform formats, and best practices for optimizing file sizes to meet platform requirements. Working closely with the creative and production teams, you will ensure that all outputs are compliant, visually engaging, and technically sound. This is a full-time role, reporting to the Production Manager, with all work managed through our in-house production system.

Key Responsibilities:

• Animation & Design: Create engaging HTML5 banners, animated social media content, and other digital assets based on supplied creative concepts.
• File Optimization: Optimize file sizes and formats to ensure compatibility with platform requirements, minimizing the risk of rejections.
• Digital Specs Expertise: Understand and implement platform-specific specifications for file formats, resolutions, and animations (e.g., Google Display Network, Meta, YouTube, etc.).
• Content Output: Deliver polished digital outputs based on creative direction, ensuring brand consistency and high-quality standards.
• Testing & QA: Conduct thorough quality checks to ensure assets function correctly and meet technical standards for deployment.
• Collaboration: Work closely with the creative team to interpret and bring concepts to life while maintaining technical feasibility.
• Platform Compliance: Stay updated on platform guidelines and ensure all assets meet the latest technical and design standards.
• Versioning: Produce multiple variations of assets, including resizing and reformatting for different platforms.
• Asset Management: Organize and manage production files efficiently within our in-house systems to ensure easy access and reusability.

Requirements:

• Technical Skills: Advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (including After Effects, Photoshop, and Animate), with strong knowledge of HTML5, CSS, and JavaScript for banner development.
• Digital Expertise: Deep understanding of digital specifications, platform requirements, and optimizing assets for performance and compliance.
• Animation Experience: Proven ability to create compelling motion graphics and animations for digital platforms.
• Attention to Detail: Meticulous about technical accuracy and design quality to meet platform standards.
• Time Management: Ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment, meeting tight deadlines without compromising quality.
• Communication: Strong written and verbal communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members.
• Problem-Solving: A proactive approach to troubleshooting and resolving technical issues with files.
• Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with major ad platforms (e.g., Google Ads, Meta Ads, DoubleClick) and their file requirements.
• Organizational Skills: Ability to manage, version, and archive files systematically for easy retrieval.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in digital design, animation, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in digital design, animation, or HTML5 banner development.
• Experience with third-party tools like Google Web Designer, Figma, or similar is a plus.
• Knowledge of video editing and rendering software (e.g., Premiere Pro) is an advantage.
