We are looking for a passionate Events professional who will be responsible in assisting Event Managers in the execution of events. Assist in the efficient execution of banquet functions in coordination with F&B, Rooms, and other concerned departments. Attends and actively participates in the weekly Events meeting. Participates in the morning event sales briefing daily.

Key Accountabilities

Consolidates and submits the Daily Summary Forecast Reports/ Business Blocks Report to the Department head to understand booking pace and conversion of what is currently on the books (definite, tentative and prospect). Ensures that Guest Profile on all accounts arc updated and managed in the Opera system. Assist the events team in the timely implementation of all action plans as set in the business plan. Assist in the review and control group room block inventory. Assist monitoring all aspect of pre-event planning and post conference meetings to ensure feedback to the Sales Department for follow-up for future business. Conducts daily administrative task to ensue efficient oversight of the Events Office of it basic needs including HR related tasks.

General Requirements

Degree in hospitality management or related field of expertise, At least 1 years experience in Event or Banquet sales and services in administrative capacity. Demonstrate technical know-how in managing and executing events. Knowledge Opera Sales and Events. Analytical acumen to be able to forecast event business. Up to date with the latest trends and best practices in Events Management.
