Job Description

The Billing and Collection Assistant will be responsible for handling billing transactions, preparing invoices, monitoring accounts receivables, and ensuring timely collections. The role requires accuracy, attention to detail, and strong organizational skills to support the Finance Department in maintaining proper financial records and ensuring smooth cash flow. This position is based in Bonifacio Global City (BGC), providing an opportunity to work in a dynamic and professional business district.

Job Responsibilities

  • Prepare, issue, and record customer invoices and official receipts accurately and on time.
  • Monitor accounts receivable, follow up on outstanding balances, and ensure timely collection of payments.
  • Communicate with clients regarding billing concerns, account reconciliations, and payment reminders in a professional manner.
  • Coordinate with internal departments to resolve billing discrepancies and ensure accurate posting of payments.
  • Maintain updated records of collections, accounts receivables aging, and other related financial data.
  • Prepare regular billing and collection reports for management review.
  • Support the Finance Department in month-end closing and auditing processes.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, accounting standards, and government regulations related to billing and collections.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field.
  • At least 1–2 years of relevant experience in billing, collections, or accounting (experience in the hospitality or service industry is an advantage).
  • Strong knowledge of basic accounting principles and practices.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, Outlook); familiarity with accounting software is a plus.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills for dealing with clients and internal teams.
  • Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to meet deadlines.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Willing to work onsite in Bonifacio Global City (BGC), Taguig
