About Us

Bond Street Procurement is a New York City–based FF&E procurement firm that partners with real estate developers and interior designers to source, purchase, and manage furniture and materials for large-scale projects. With a strong track record in supply chain management and procurement, we are expanding our services to include furniture specification and future direct-to-client furniture design and manufacturing.

Role Overview

We are seeking a Procurement Specialist with Interior Design Experience to join our team. This hybrid role is ideal for someone who understands both the creative and technical aspects of furniture and interior materials, but whose primary focus will be procurement, sourcing, and purchasing.

You will collaborate with developers, designers, and vendors to specify and purchase furniture and finishes, ensuring projects stay on budget, on time, and aligned with client goals. While interior design knowledge is important, this is a procurement-first role, with the opportunity to grow into furniture design and manufacturing initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

Furniture Procurement & Sourcing

• Lead the purchasing process for FF&E, including vendor communication, order placement, budget tracking, and logistics.
• Source furniture and materials that meet design intent, durability standards, and client requirements.
• Negotiate with suppliers to ensure cost efficiency and maintain vendor relationships.

Specification Support

• Collaborate with design teams to suggest, select, and specify furniture pieces, finishes, and materials.
• Assist in creating room-by-room FF&E specifications for developers and hospitality clients.
• Provide expertise on furniture manufacturing methods, materials selection, and US industry standards.

Vendor & Client Relations

• Build and maintain strong vendor partnerships to expand our procurement network.
• Liaise with clients and design teams to align procurement decisions with overall project vision.
• Support future initiatives in custom furniture design and production.

Project Coordination

• Track and manage project budgets, timelines, and deliveries.
• Ensure clear documentation and reporting for clients and internal teams.
• Support installation phases when needed.

Qualifications

Education/Experience

• Background in Interior Design, Furniture Design, or Architecture is a plus, but not required if paired with strong procurement experience.
• 3+ years of experience in procurement, sourcing, or supply chain management within the furniture or interiors industry.

Skills

• Strong knowledge of furniture manufacturing processes, materials, and finishes.
• Understanding of US industry standards for furniture and interior materials.
• Proficiency in vendor negotiations and purchasing workflows.
• Ability to evaluate durability, sustainability, and cost-effectiveness of materials.
• Excellent organizational, budgeting, and communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, project-based environment.
