The Business Analyst will support process improvement, system enhancement, and data-driven decision-making for Octopus POS solutions. The role gathers and analyzes requirements, prepares documentation, supports product development, and works closely with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless POS operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Analyze business processes and identify improvement opportunities.
  • Gather, document, and validate business and technical requirements.
  • Coordinate with product and development teams for POS features and enhancements.
  • Prepare user stories, workflows, and specifications.
  • Support UAT activities and track issues.
  • Assist in data analysis and performance reporting.
  • Facilitate meetings and requirement discussions.
  • Support system rollout and user training materials.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, IT, Computer Science, or related field.
  • 2–4 years experience in business analysis; POS or retail tech background is a plus.
  • Strong skills in requirements gathering, documentation, and process mapping.
  • Familiarity with Jira, Confluence, and diagramming tools.
  • Basic data analysis or SQL knowledge is an advantage.
  • Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
