We are seeking a Business Analyst for our client, a company that develops and provides a technology platform designed for identity verification and onboarding for the financial services industry.

Qualifications & experience

  • 4+ years proven experience working as a Senior Business Analyst.
  • Proficiency in data analysis tools, project management software, and understanding of methodologies.
  • Excellent organizational skills, problem solving, attention to detail, effective & professional communication with client.
  • Experience in technical analysis tasks, including systems integration document analysis, and API specification review and mapping.
  • Ability to work independently at a high level without constant supervision.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and a determined drive to achieve results.

Tasks & responsibilities

Core Duties

  • Develop and maintain strong business relationships with key internal and external stakeholders and leverage those relationships to achieve both business and customer objectives.
  • Perform an excellent verbal and written communication skills to elicit, capture and refine user requirements and implement solutions that will deliver high quality business outcomes.
  • Liaise with key stakeholders to capture requirements utilizing techniques such as interviews, document analysis and workshops. This will include conducting workshops with business and technical SMEs, eliciting technical requirements that support business, data and integration needs.
  • Document user requirements via clear and concise user stories with appropriate supporting documentation, such as diagrams and specifications.
  • Support delivery of solutions by working collaboratively with developers and testers during the development process to ensure the right solution is being built.
  • Create and maintain customer documentation relating to business workflows and technical processes. This includes generating high quality diagrams that capture business processes, technical workflows and sequence diagrams.
  • Support the design, development, implementation and ongoing management of product and regulatory change initiatives.
  • Maintain a product knowledge base to provide a central source of product expertise within the organization and support superior product design and maintenance.

  • Understand the key milestones to be hit & the role you and your team play in reaching these.
  • Protect the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of the data, including client data and company data.
  • Participate in the rollout of special internal projects and initiatives to help their success.

Task Management and Organization

  • Proactively organize your task backlog to ensure all assigned tasks are delivered as scheduled. Breakdown tasks into smaller deliverables or milestones when appropriate.
