Job Title: Junior Business Analyst

Job Summary

Under general direction, the Junior Business Analyst supports senior business analysts in developing and maintaining business requirements for key and critical initiatives. This role acts as a liaison between stakeholders, process owners, and technical teams to help elicit, analyze, document, validate, and communicate business requirements related to process improvements, policy updates, and information systems changes.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Assist senior Business Analysts in the development and documentation of business requirements for assigned projects.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders and process owners to gather, clarify, and validate business requirements.
  • Analyze existing business processes and help design improved processes that consistently produce high-quality deliverables.
  • Document business requirements, functional specifications, and process flows clearly and accurately.
  • Create, maintain, and manage Business Requirement Documents and related artifacts.
  • Support and help manage change requests to ensure proper assessment, documentation, and approval.
  • Assist in developing test plans, test scenarios, and supporting documentation.
  • Participate in User Acceptance Testing to ensure solutions meet business requirements.
  • Provide post-implementation support, including documentation updates and review of delivered solutions.
  • Prepare or assist in post-implementation reviews to identify gaps, lessons learned, and improvement opportunities.
  • Perform other related tasks as assigned to support business analysis activities.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Technology, Computer Science, Industrial Engineering or a related field.
  • Basic understanding of business analysis concepts, methodologies, and documentation.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Good communication skills with the ability to work with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks in a structured way.
  • Familiarity with documentation tools and basic testing concepts is a plus.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: Up to Php25,000.00 per month
