Responsibilities include coordinating with the construction team, conducting site inspections, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and building codes, and providing regular reports on project progress. This role requires a blend of architectural expertise, project management skills, and a strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and technical drawings.

Key Responsibilities

  • On-Site Supervision: Oversee all on-site construction activities, monitor progress, and ensure work aligns with approved architectural plans and specifications.
  • Coordination: Liaise with contractors, engineers, and other construction professionals to facilitate smooth project execution.
  • Quality Control: Conduct inspections, check materials, and verify that all work meets established quality and design standards.
  • Safety and Compliance: Ensure adherence to safety regulations, building codes, and other relevant laws and standards on the construction site.
  • Documentation and Reporting: Prepare detailed reports on project progress, site conditions, and budget utilization for stakeholders.
  • Problem-Solving: Identify and promptly resolve any technical difficulties or unforeseen issues that arise during construction.
  • Budget and Schedule Management: Monitor expenditures and labor to help keep the project within budget and on schedule.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Education: A Bachelor's degree in Architecture or a related field is typically required.
  • Experience: Several years of experience in construction or architectural site engineering is often needed.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency with computer-aided design (CAD) software, blueprint reading, and a strong knowledge of construction methods.
  • Soft Skills: Excellent project management, organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills are essential.
