ABOUT THE ROLE
The Warehouse Associate is responsible for efficiently picking, packing, and preparing customer orders in a warehouse setting. This role ensures that every order is accurate, complete, and shipped on time, while maintaining high standards of quality and safety. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized and able to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team in a fast-paced environment.
JOB DESCRIPTION
- Assists checkers on releasing of stocks to loading area as preparation for delivery.
- Responsible on the proper handling of items.
- Responsible to use pallet strap during transport of items using jack pallet.
- Helps the checker to compress of stocks at the loading area before leaving the Warehouse.
- Helps the checker on bringing the documents/supplies/items to other departments, if the checker is unable to do so.
- Manages pick ticket orders.
- Pulls warehouse items from the shelves based on number, size, color, quantity, and quality requirements.
- Ensures that orders are accurate.
- Operates handling equipment and ensures safety regulations are followed.
- Ensures warehouse goals are met.
- Maintains a high level of health and safety standards.
- Packs warehouse orders as necessary.
- Ensures proper order is picked, and inventory is managed accurately.
- Performs other general warehouse duties as needed.
- Processing orders through picking of items and packing of parcel.
- Handle all aspects of order fulfillment including processing high volume orders and meeting daily quota.
- Following standard procedure of packing of parcel.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Prior warehouse experience, especially in picking and packing, is preferred.
- Ability to read and interpret product codes, labels and order sheets accurately.
- Physically able to lift and move moderate weights.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
- Ability to work in fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
- Basic computer skills for inventory tracking and order verification.
- Good communication skills and ability to work well in a team.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends or overtime, as needed.
