About the Role

Position: Junior Bookkeeper

Type: Full-time (Remote, Work-from-Home)

Shift: Day Shift (5:00am – 1:30pm PHST)

Are you a detail-oriented professional with a knack for organization and a passion for streamlining operations? This role offers a fantastic opportunity to expand your experience while working with a collaborative team that values adaptability and excellence. As part of our Support Services team, you'll play a key role in ensuring our workflows, systems, and communications run smoothly.

Key Responsibilities:

  • General bookkeeping duties including daily bank reconciliations and all banking duties required
  • Record daily financial transactions of a business in bookkeeping software (such as MYOB or Xero), spreadsheets or other databases
  • Process payroll and maintain employee records
  • Check figures and reports for accuracy
  • Manage client's accounts payable and accounts receivable including ensuring that receivables are collected promptly
  • Assist in preparing relevant reporting requirements (e.g. monthly management reports, budgets and forecasts)
  • Assist with audits
  • Always treat clients with respect and kindness
  • Comply with general office policies, procedures and all legal requirements
  • Track time spent on doing all the tasks and enter into timesheet system
  • Take initiative on improving technical skills
  • Undertake any other specific duties as required by the production manager/accountant

Key Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree related in accounting or finance
  • With at least 1 year of work experience
  • Prior experience with accounting software is preferred (Xero, MYOB, Quickbooks)
  • Comfortable with Excel and other Microsoft Office applications
  • Reliable team player
  • Organised with good time management and workload planning
  • Keen to details

  • Receptive to feedback
  • Open to learn and adapt new things (Kaizen approach)
