A DAY IN THE LIFE OF

We are seeking a detailed oriented and motivated Junior Finance Executive whose values align with our TEAM; standing for Together, Extra-mile, Accountable and Mindful. The Junior Finance Executive works closely with the Assistant Finance Manager and Operation team, to ensure the smooth running of the day-to-day financial transactions, such as processing payments, managing invoices and maintaining the proper documentation in the book. 

ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Assist in the month-end closings for the preparation of financial reports timely and accurately, including but not limited to general journal entries, bank reconciliation, bills and payments, etc.
• Record all financial transactions (e.g. expenses, revenues, general ledger entries) in the physical accounting book in accordance with local regulatory requirements.
• Support in the issuance and tracking of manual documents and reports including, but not limited to sales invoices, purchase invoices, official receipts, and etc.
• Perform daily accounting duties, including financial reporting functions, bookkeeping, transaction reconciliation and identifying discrepancies, and giving biweekly updates.
• Support in periodic tax computations and annual audit, including liaising with tax agents and auditors to collate the requested documentation.
• Provide general administrative support to the finance team, including handling ad hoc tasks as assigned, data entry, and preparing summary reports.

Requirements

• Personable with strong verbal and written communication.
• Exceptionally organised with the ability to multitask.
• Thrives under pressure and is solution-oriented.
• Detail-oriented and able to work under pressure and adapt to a fast-paced environment.
• A University Degree is an advantage.
• 1-2 years of work experience in an Accounting or Finance related field.
• Proficient use of Microsoft Office and/or Google Suite.
• Previous experience in online accounting software such as Microsoft Dynamic  is an advantage.
• A good team player.
• Prior experience in coworking, real estate, or startup business would be an advantage.
• Fluent in English.
