Job Description:

We are seeking an accomplished Head Nurse with proven managerial experience and a strong background in Rehabilitation Nursing. The Head Nurse will lead the nursing department, oversee patient care, manage staff, and ensure adherence to hospital policies and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide leadership and supervision to the nursing team in the rehabilitation unit
  • Develop, implement, and monitor patient care standards and nursing protocols
  • Ensure safe, high-quality, and patient-centered care delivery
  • Oversee staffing, scheduling, and performance evaluations of nursing staff
  • Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and management in care planning
  • Ensure compliance with infection control, patient safety, and hospital regulations
  • Manage department resources, equipment, and supplies effectively
  • Conduct training, mentoring, and professional development programs for nurses
  • Prepare reports and contribute to hospital policy and quality improvement initiatives
  • Handle complex patient/family issues with professionalism and empathy

Qualifications:

  • Master's Degree in Nursing or related field (required)
  • Licensed Registered Nurse with valid credentials
  • Minimum 3–5 years of managerial experience in a hospital setting
  • Prior work experience in a Rehabilitation Hospital/Unit (strongly preferred)
  • Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
  • Ability to handle administrative tasks while ensuring clinical excellence
  • Commitment to continuous improvement and staff development
