We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Certified Public Accountant (CPA) with proven experience in FMCG, distribution, or trading industries. The ideal candidate will manage end-to-end financial operations, ensuring accurate reporting, effective cash flow management, and compliance with accounting standards. Proficiency in SAP (FI/CO modules) and a strong understanding of the fast-paced, high-volume nature of FMCG and trading environments are essential for this role.


Key Responsibilities

Financial Management & Reporting

  • Prepare, analyze, and present monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in line with IFRS/GAAP standards.
  • Generate and interpret financial reports through SAP to support strategic business decisions.
  • Ensure timely month-end and year-end closing processes, including journal entries and accrual postings.

Forecasting & Cash Flow

  • Develop cash flow forecasts and financial projections to support operational planning and working capital management.
  • Monitor actual vs. forecasted results and provide variance analysis with actionable insights.

Accounting Operations

  • Oversee general ledger (GL) entries, account reconciliations, and bank reconciliations through SAP.
  • Manage accounts payable (AP) cycles — including vendor payments, reconciliations, and payment scheduling.
  • Maintain accurate records for fixed assets, including capitalization, depreciation, and disposals.
  • Handle accruals, journal entries, and adjustments in SAP for period closings.

Taxation & Compliance

  • Prepare and file GST/VAT returns, ensuring compliance with statutory tax laws and reporting standards.
  • Support external and internal audits by providing detailed schedules, reconciliations, and documentation.

Financial Analysis

  • Conduct detailed financial analysis to assess profitability, cost efficiency, and performance of business units or product lines.
  • Partner with operations and supply chain teams to evaluate pricing, margins, and inventory costing.

SAP & System Integration

  • Utilize SAP FI/CO for all accounting functions — GL, AP, AR, asset management, and reporting.
  • Collaborate with IT and finance teams to enhance process automation and ensure data integrity within the SAP environment.

Process Improvement

  • Identify and implement opportunities for process optimization in financial workflows.
  • Strengthen internal controls over accounting and financial reporting.

Qualifications
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • Certification: Active Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license required.

  • Experience:

  • 3–5+ years of relevant accounting experience in FMCG, distribution, or trading industries.

  • Strong background in SAP FI/CO modules (Finance and Controlling).
  • Experience in financial reporting, forecasting, and reconciliations.

  • Technical Skills:

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel for data analysis and reporting).

  • Familiarity with ERP systems, particularly SAP integration with inventory and logistics modules.

  • Knowledge:

  • Deep understanding of cost accounting, inventory valuation, and supply chain finance in FMCG/trading environments.

  • Strong knowledge of GAAP/IFRS, GST, and tax compliance.
