
Product/Brand Manager

Job Summary:
The Product/Brand Manager is responsible for developing and executing marketing strategies to promote pharmaceutical products, enhance brand awareness, and achieve business objectives. This role involves market research, product positioning, promotional planning, and close coordination with sales, medical, and regulatory teams to ensure the success of assigned brands in a highly competitive pharmaceutical market.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement strategic marketing plans to achieve sales targets and strengthen the market position of assigned pharmaceutical products.
- Conduct market research and analyze industry trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to identify growth opportunities.
- Manage the product life cycle from planning, launch, promotion, and eventual phase-out.
- Conceptualize and implement brand campaigns, promotional materials, and medical education programs in compliance with industry regulations.
- Collaborate with the sales team to provide product training, marketing support, and tools that will drive product adoption and market penetration.
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of marketing programs, campaigns, and strategies, making adjustments as needed.
- Work closely with regulatory, supply chain, and medical affairs teams to ensure product availability, compliance, and alignment with company objectives.
- Manage budgets for assigned brands and ensure efficient allocation of resources.
- Establish strong relationships with healthcare professionals, key opinion leaders (KOLs), and other stakeholders to promote product credibility and acceptance.
- Prepare regular reports on brand performance, market share, and competitor activity for management review.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy, Marketing, Business Administration, or any related course; a graduate degree (MBA) is an advantage.
- Minimum of 3–5 years of relevant experience in product management, brand management, or marketing within the pharmaceutical industry.
- Strong knowledge of pharmaceutical marketing practices, regulatory guidelines, and market dynamics.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Highly analytical, creative, and results-driven with strong problem-solving abilities.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office tools and other relevant business applications.
- Capable of working independently while effectively collaborating with cross-functional teams.
