Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Supervise daily operations: Oversee and coordinate all shipping, receiving, and distribution activities, ensuring smooth and efficient workflows.
  • Manage staff: Supervise, train, and develop the logistics team, including scheduling and workload management.
  • Inventory management: Monitor and control inventory levels, ensuring accurate records and timely replenishment of stock.
  • Shipment coordination: Arrange and coordinate inbound and outbound shipments, liaising with carriers, suppliers, and customers to ensure on-time delivery.
  • Process improvement: Develop and implement strategies to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance customer service within the logistics network.
  • Compliance: Ensure all operations comply with safety, regulatory, and quality standards.
  • Issue resolution: Investigate and resolve logistical issues, delays, and customer complaints promptly.
  • Reporting: Prepare and analyze reports on logistics performance, including key performance indicators (KPIs), for management.
