Job Summary:
The Sales Supervisor is responsible for leading and motivating the sales team to achieve individual and group sales targets. This role involves supervising day-to-day sales operations, developing business strategies, managing client relationships, and ensuring excellent customer service. The Sales Supervisor serves as the link between management and the sales team, ensuring alignment with company goals, sales performance, and market growth.
Key Responsibilities:1. Sales Management & Leadership
- Supervise and monitor the daily activities of the sales team.
- Set and implement sales targets, strategies, and performance goals.
- Motivate, train, and coach sales staff to achieve individual and team objectives.
- Evaluate performance through regular feedback, reports, and assessments.
2. Business Development
- Identify new business opportunities, markets, and customer segments.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, partners, and distributors.
- Oversee negotiations, proposals, and closing of sales deals.
- Develop marketing and sales initiatives to increase brand visibility and product reach.
3. Sales Operations & Reporting
- Prepare accurate and timely sales reports, forecasts, and performance analyses.
- Monitor inventory levels, pricing strategies, and sales activities.
- Coordinate with other departments (Marketing, Logistics, Accounting, etc.) to ensure smooth order processing and delivery.
- Ensure sales documentation and records are complete, accurate, and updated.
4. Customer Service & Relationship Management
- Handle client concerns and complaints promptly and professionally.
- Maintain long-term business relationships with key customers.
- Ensure consistent delivery of excellent customer service across all sales channels.
5. Strategy & Market Analysis
- Gather and analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer preferences.
- Provide insights and recommendations to management for product improvement or pricing strategies.
- Assist in planning promotional campaigns, events, and product launches.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Management, or a related field
- At least 3–5 years of experience in sales, preferably in a supervisory or team leader role
- Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
- Excellent negotiation and presentation skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and sales reporting tools
- Knowledgeable in market research and customer analytics
- Highly organized, results-driven, and adaptable to dynamic environments
- With a valid driver's licensed
