Job Description

As a Legal Administrative Assistant, you will manage, review, and format legal documents with precision while ensuring confidentiality and compliance. You'll support contract review, data entry, and administrative processes, enabling seamless workflows and high-quality service delivery for global clients.

The Qualifications We Seek

  • At least 1 year of experience in a legal support or administrative role preferred
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly advanced Microsoft Word (e.g., using styles, table of contents, cross-referencing, formatting tools)
  • Familiarity with Clio is highly preferred; if none, advanced MS Word expertise is essential
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent comprehension and attention to detail, especially in document formatting and editing
  • Ability to follow style guides and standard formatting practices with consistency
  • Experience using online legal filing systems and internal case/practice management software
  • Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and handle sensitive information with discretion

Your Daily Tasks

  • Manage and maintain legal documents with a high degree of accuracy and confidentiality
  • Review, format, and update contracts and legal documentation to ensure consistency with internal standards and client-specific style guides
  • Assist in the review of 3-4 contracts per day, ensuring proper sentence structure, accurate cross-referencing, and compliance with established formatting protocols
  • Support filing and data entry tasks using various online court portals and internal systems
  • Enter data into practice management and legal software systems
  • Provide administrative support including calendar management, document tracking, and internal record-keeping
  • Assist with basic finance tasks, such as invoice entry or client data updates in finance-related systems
  • Maintain effective communication with internal teams and clients to ensure clarity and accuracy in documentation
